To commence Women in Construction Week, we are celebrating all remarkable women at GBA Companies for their leadership, expertise and dedication.
It’s a challenge that many employers are facing today, how to be more proactive in building a labor pool for their industry. This is especially true in the AEC industry. In early March, the Kansas City Business Journal’s Publisher Staci Prosser, moderated a discussion, “Women Building KC”, with a table of experts, that touched on workforce development, company culture and career guidance for young people entering the architecture, engineering and construction industry.
