LENEXA, Kansas – Alynix, LLC will host students from Operation Breakthrough’s Ignition Lab at their office headquarters showing teenagers career opportunities in the drone technology space on March 24, 2022.

Lenexa-based drone technology company, Alynix, has partnered with Operation Breakthrough to inspire high school students in the Kansas City area to learn about drone technology careers. This partnership is a great opportunity for both organizations to come together and promote S.T.E.M. education within the community. The first event will take place at the Alynix Lenexa headquarters and will focus on drones and how remote sensing impacts the world we live in. The students will have the opportunity to interact with drone pilots, geospatial data scientists and real-world tools. Certified pilots will be answering questions to help the students pass their commercial drone exam (FAA Part 107). Scientists will talk through traditional and non-traditional paths of becoming a geospatial scientist.

“We are excited to work with Operation Breakthrough on their efforts to prepare the next generation for careers in automation and geospatial science.” Ben Lindner – President Alynix
